Hello Juniors!
As you may recall from last year's debate (for those of you who attended), there was some confusion about the exact wording of the motion. To prevent this from happening again I want the motion (and its meaning) to be agreed upon by both the Senior and Junior teams before the debate happens. The topic this year, as we discussed in class, is the impact of Martin Luther. The Seniors will be arguing that his legacy has been problematic and damaging, while the Juniors will be arguing in his favor.
Go ahead and post your suggestions for a motion in the comments below. Feel free to recommend improvements to each other's work and/or debate the motion in the comments. Thank you!
